The Project revolves around the sponsor's logistical operations for creating, deploying and tracking of assets. Incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining the testing of all code changes involving legacy and future logistical applications. Incumbent will maintain a formal testing process across the full life cycle of the systems to ensure that best practices in testing are followed. Develop and execute test plans. Analyze and review system requirements defined in the System Requirements Document (SRD) and the System Requirements Specifications (SRS) to ensure testability and identify discrepancies or errors in the functions, interface, data structure, performance and termination of the system. Use the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) to map requirements to the verification methods that will be sued to ensure system compliance with the requirements and that each requirement has a verification test associated with it. Develop test cases and write test procedures and scenarios to test the system against the defined requirements in accordance with the established test plan(s) for process, function, system integration, and acceptance testing. Document, review, and verify Discrepancy Reports (DRs) and Requests for Change (RFCs) discovered during formal and informal testing phases. Perform regression testing to ensure that all other test-related documentation is updated. Participate in control gates such as System Requirement Reviews (SRRs) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs). Provide input for the test schedule to ensure that adequate time is allocated for testing. Collaborate with the requirements team, development team, configuration manager (CM), project managers (PM), and the customer during pre-testing, testing and post-testing phases. Participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs) to determine test strategies, de-conflict schedules and coordinate test activities. Effectively communicate test results to audiences of different levels of technical experience.
